Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Have you ever come to the conclusion that what you have been working so diligently on is a bust? I woke up in the middle of the night and thought, I hate the way that quilt is turning out! Ugh, and its ready to quilt. Now I just want to toss the whole thing out. So, should I quilt it and then give it to the dog or should I just not even admit that I made that...? Has this ever happened to you and what did you do? It is so disappointing and costly too. I think I will just go dig in the garden and pray for new inspiration for now....... Scrappily, Susan

  1. Where I live we do ugly quilts, grin, and give them to the homeless! Why ugly?? So no one will steal the quilt and leave the homeless person with nothing to cuddle in at night, so finish it and find someone who will love it no matter what it looks like, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 2. Thanks for the suggestion. It's a great one and I will do just that! Makes a mess a blessing.

  3. Yep, I agree with Barbar. SOMEone will love it. So…where's the picture? Maybe you could get a second opinion. :-)

Oh, and turn your word verification off. It took me 5 times to get a verification that I could read!!!

  4. Either finish it and give it to charity or put it away for awhile and then take a fresh look at it. I've done that and fallen in love with an old UFO!
