 My name is Susan and I am so glad you have stopped by. I love to quilt. I maid my first quilt out of flannel when I was thirteen. It was for my soon to be born baby sister. Oddly, she was born on my fourteenth birthday, an unusual birthday to be sure. I enjoy sharing what I am doing with fabric, my garden, and things I find in blog land. I also share charity work that my quilty friends and I have participated in.

I have been married for forty years to my sweet heart of a hubby. We have three children and five grandchildren and one pup who is really our fourth child. She is an Australian Shepherd named Maddie.

I enjoy making/designing my own patterns. It is rare for me to make a quilt just as the pattern says. That is true for clothes and crafty things as well.

Well I hope you have enjoyed your few moments here. I have a little give-away. Just leave me a little note sharing when you started quilting, or sewing. I will have a drawing on the 31st.
