Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

How do you tame your sewing/quilting beast? Does it tend to grow and flow out of one room and begin to take over the whole house? While attempting to tame the Beast this summer, I realized I have a shameful amount of "Works In Progress".  So much so that I couldn't even bring myself to count them, yikes! I just didn't want to know the exact number but I do want to make those WIP's shrink to just one or two, maybe even three. So what do you do to get the WIP numbers down?

It's back to those projects to try and get one more finished. I'll let you know how I do on this and show you what I complete.
Until next time....Susan

  1. Good question. Well I did not start off with too many WIP but now I do. I guess for me one thing that works is knowing what I have going on. Then putting them in order of what I want done first then maing a list and getting started. When I get sick of a project I do move on to another WIP and do that for a while. I seem to have three going on all the time and move back and forth. I hope that this helps.

  2. Thanks Shannon, its a good idea for me to know what I have going on, something I am going to have to face =( I know I have too many but a list and working on a few at a time is a great way to start. Thanks!
